The Hub

The hub is the heart of the Nomo system and is hooked up via Wi-Fi network.

The hub provides hands-free instant communication with the Care Circle, air temperature and humidity readings, and senses your loved one's daily routine.

Satellites

Satellites connect seamlessly through the hub and can be plugged into any electrical outlet.

They use similar sensor technology as the hub, collecting sound and motion data while transcribing them to the Nomo app in real-time.

Tags

Tags can be placed on any surface in the home to sense movement.

The Nomo app notifies when the fridge, medicine cabinet, or doors are opened. Other Tag features include alert buttons and wearable Pendant setting for fall detection.

No. The Nomo system uses motion sensors, not cameras. We're dedicated to protecting Mom and her privacy. With the Nomo system Mom can enjoy the independence of living in her home, without being watched. Keeping tabs on daily activities provide you with valuable information about Mom’s day and general well-being. You know Mom’s OK without cameras.

How does the Nomo system let me know when something is out of the ordinary?

Two ways. First, nobody knows Mom’s day like you. With the Nomo system and the Nomo app you can quickly check when Mom’s daily activity is normal and when it’s not.

Second, you can use the Nomo app to set trigger alerts for unusual events like an exterior door opening at an unusual hour. The Nomo app can also alert you when expected events DON’T occur, for example Mom not getting out of bed on time or not opening her medicine cabinet.

The Nomo system offers multiple layers of potential fall detection. Tags can be worn as a potential fall detection pendant. Every tag has an emergency alert button for reaching out for help fast. And tags are shower-proof. Put one in the shower, or near the tub. And because the Nomo system detects motion, you can set triggers to quickly alert you if regular activity stops. This could indicate a potential fall, allowing you to check in.
